Annual Farm Expo to be held in Bristol
Farm Expo will return to Bristol Motor Speedway’s south building Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will include tractors, Budweiser Clydesdales, live music, a petting zoo, a hog-calling contest and more throughout the weekend. Songwriting contest set for BCM
The BCM will host a qualifying round for the 2023 Tennessee Songwriters Week on Feb. 4 from 1 to 5 p.m. The fourth annual statewide event offers the chance for selected regional songwriters to enter and perform their original songs as part of the competition and possibly advance to the second round at the Down Home in Johnson City — and maybe even the final round at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe. Rotary Frolics ready to entertain at Barter
The Abingdon Rotary Club will host its Rotary Frolics event on the Barter stage Feb. 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. The event is an annual comedy and music performance designed to raise funds for local causes. Town Mountain set for Farm and Fun Time
The bluegrass and honky-tonk band Town Mountain will perform at WBCM Radio Bristol’s Farm and Fun Time variety show live at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum on Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. The Anya Hinkle Trio will also perform along with the musical group and host, Bill and the Belles.
